“ Catfish was divine and the way my mom makes it. My husband ordered breakfast and they had big glasses of orange juice. Kids loved the French toast and hash browns. Very nice staff and quick with food made to order. ”
“ I visited from Massachusetts and had Wanda J's one time 9 years ago at the original place. I've been RAVING about this place ever since. fast forward to today and we drove 2 hours to FINALLY get some more. It did not disappoint, amazing food, perfect service, friendly staff, customers are sitting around having a good time in this place. I will continue to rant to everyone I know about this place probably till I die. I had the fried catfish and it was perfect in everyway, the mashed potatoes is super thick, the fried okra and cornbread is literally perfect places don't make it like this anymore. The Mac and cheese is some of the best Ive ever tried and even the white gravy which I'm usually not a fan of is on point. Seriously if your within an hour of this place there's no excuse not to visit! ”

We had mustard greens, fried okra, sweet potato casserole and fried cabbage, all the sides were perfect. The cornbread was so good and unusual it was sweet and like a corn cake. The service was fantastic. Seating was limited and the restaurant was spotless. We will definitely be back! ”
“ We had the catfish and liver and onions dinners. The catfish was seasoned well and fried hard. They give you two whole filets which was more than enough. It’s hard to find liver and onions anymore, and even harder to find it cooked right. Wanda J’s knows what they’re doing. Reminds me of eating it as a kid! The serving sizes are generous. The two diners with drinks came in at 30 and we had leftovers to take. ”
